Message from the Development Director
Have you seen someone wearing a life is good T-shirt? If you have, you have read the simple message of hope and optimism that brothers Bert and John Jacobs want the world to hear.
We have heard a lot of doom and gloom messages about the Church and everything connected to it. We have seen members of our parishes and families leave the Church community behind.
But we say, come join us in our mission to share God’s compassionate love with all our brothers and sisters. Come join us as we serve others in hospitals, parishes, schools and nursing homes. Come join us in standing with and for the needy, the homeless, and the immigrant. Come join us in speaking of the blessings of our Catholic faith and our Catholic values. Come join us because we can not do all we do without you.
Together we can teach and heal. Together we can help and advocate for the poor. Together we can speak up for peace, for respect for each life, and for care of our Earth. Come join us in our mission with your gift, your prayer, and your ways of bringing God’s love to others each day.

The Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross are a not-for profit 501c(3) corporation. Our corporate title for legal documents is SISTERS OF ST. FRANCIS OF THE HOLY CROSS. Fund raising for our Community operates according to the guidelines of the National Catholic Development Conference. For your tax purposes note that we are recognized by the IRS as a charitable organization. Any donations made to us are tax deductible.
